We have an opportunity for an OHL Technician specialising in a broad range of overhead line construction services, including condition assessment, compliance, quality assurance and project management.
Energyline Ltd is a leading integrated consultancy, survey, and investigation service for the power systems industry based in Knaresborough and Copgrove.
Tasks and Responsibilities : Reporting to the Site Services Manager, you will be responsible for the professional delivery of specialist OHL construction services, working as part of a team to deliver against client requirements, technical specifications and set procedures.
Tasks involved will include –
Previous Experience : A background in the electricity supply industry would be preferred, including experience on OHL construction and/or maintenance projects.
Working at height experience would also be a benefit.
Current UK DNO authorisations, BESC or National Grid authorisations would be desirable.
Qualifications : Applicants should have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s or other equivalent vocational qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ level 2 etc)
You must also hold a full and valid UK driving license.

Working Hours : The role of OHL Technician within Energyline demands a flexible work pattern, this involves working away from home in various UK locations and occasional weekend working for which additional payment will be made.
Sitework can be in remote locations and may involve accessing these areas on foot as well as by driving off-road.
