Energyline’s team supported the discharge of a number of requirements related to Stage 8 works set out in the Development Consent Order for the National Grid Hinkley Connection Project. The team prepared and submitted applications for all environmental licences and permits required to enable the construction team to start work on site. These included Land Drainage Consents, protected species surveys and licences, and Public Right of Way diversions, and Temporary Traffic Regulation Order applications. Ongoing Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) and Archaeological Clerk of Work (ACoW) activities are being undertaken by Energyline, as well as Environmental Site Management and auditing.
We are pleased to be working with National Grid, supporting their work to connect low carbon energy in the South West; helping to meet the UK’s ambition to achieve net zero by 2050.
