Mybster - Shin 132kV Existing Overhead Line

Delivering a refurbishment project for Scottish & Southern Energy, Energyline completed over 100 kilometres of ground based precision surveys on overhead lines across varied and challenging terrain in the North East of Scotland, incorporating selected areas of LiDAR survey where conventional survey access proved impossible.

Hinkley Connection Project. Geotechnical Support

Geotechnical analysis and design of eight individual gravity pad foundations for a new 132, 000 kV overhead line.

Highland Access and Drainage Works, Quoich
132kV Cable Sealing End Compounds, Aberdeen

The distribution network operator Client required designs to be prepared for the proposed OHL modifications, Cable Sealing End Compounds (CSEC) and associated cable system on a double circuit 132kV overhead line near Aberdeen.

High Temperature Low Sag Conductor Adoption

Energyline have supported the type registration schemes for both Aluminium Conductor Composite Core (ACCC, CTC) and Aluminium Conductor Composite Reinforced (ACCR, 3M). Our involvement included developing the type test regime in the absence of a wholly applicable UK standard, test witnessing and factory audits.

New Suite of Transmission Structures – NeSTS

North Lincolnshire Green Energy Park

We are currently taking the planning lead working across a multidisciplinary team of this proposed 100MW energy from waste scheme including district heat and power connections north of Scunthorpe. This role includes liaison and consultation with key stakeholders and the Planning Inspectorate.

Hinkley Connection Project. Environmental and Planning Support

Energyline’s team coordinated the discharge of a number of Requirements related to the Hinkley Point overhead line connection Development Consent Order for Stage 8, as well as preparing and submitting applications for all environmental licences and permits required to enable the construction team to commence work on site.

XZ 275kV OHL - Site Condition Assessments

On behalf of Scottish Power Energy Networks we provided an integrated service package all delivered by our in-house staff. Including ground based visual inspection of all towers on the route, geotechnical desk study and intrusive foundation inspections.

Western Power - Various 66kV - 132kV Routes - Cormon Conductor Surveys
