We are providing planning consultancy support for this DCO application, working with a range of experts as part of a multidisciplinary team. North Lincolnshire Green Energy Park is an innovative development of a 95MW energy from waste scheme including district heat and power connections north of Scunthorpe. The overarching aim of the Project is to support the UK’s transition to a low carbon economy as outlined in the Sixth Carbon Budget (December 2020), the national Ten Point Plan for a Green Industrial Revolution (November 2020) and the North Lincolnshire prospectus for a Green Future.
This role includes liaison and consultation with key stakeholders and the Planning Inspectorate. Energyline have worked on this Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) since inception, preparing initial EIA Scoping and Screening submissions and leading on Planning chapters, ecological surveys, site selection and cumulative assessment.
